Your daily routines, work ethic, and mindset are entirely under your control. By improving your own habits, you set yourself up for consistent growth, no matter what others do.

You can’t control the opinions or decisions of others, but you can control your thoughts. Choose optimism over negativity, gratitude over complaint, and action over inaction.
4. Set Boundaries
Part of controlling yourself is protecting your energy. Saying no, walking away from toxic situations, or simply limiting exposure to negativity allows you to focus on what truly matters.
Trying to control others is a frustrating and exhausting game you’ll never win. Instead, invest your energy into controlling yourself—your actions, your mindset, and your habits. That’s where real power, peace, and progress come from.

I just finished reading (listening) the book, and the biggest takeaway is learning to let go of trying to control others or their opinions. By focusing only on what I can control—my actions, mindset, and choices—I free up energy, set healthy boundaries, make decisions based on my values, and find real peace of mind.
