The decline in residential property prices appears to be slowing, according to preliminary data from First American CoreLogic.
A preview of its November report shows that home prices fell 9.6 percent last month, compared with 10.4 percent in October and 11.2 percent in September.
“The consistent deceleration over the past two months with November indicating the same trend in price declines is encouraging because it could portend the trough in price declines,” says Mark Fleming, chief economist for First American CoreLogic.
Still, layoffs and the swollen supply of unsold homes remain a concern, he notes.

Rocky Balboa’s inspirational speech to his son.
Life throws punches…the difference between winners and losers is the winner takes the hit, but gets up and keeps moving forward….A winner just refuses to be stopped. No excuses….Just keep doing…

Braveheart – THE Speech
I’m William Wallace. I see whole army of my countrymen to fight for freedom… what will you do without freedom. You may fight and die or run and live, but many years from now would you give up all to come back here to fight for our freedom… The worst death a man can have is the slow death of woulda coulda. I would rather die a failure trying than die with potential.
Independence Day – Speech By The President (Bill Pullman)
Today we launch an united attach against the evil enemy….We will not fail…..
Remember one Common Factor of any successful person: Form habits of doing what failures don’t like to do. Bottom line humans avoid pain, but seek pleasure. Success is achieved by doing the painful actions to gain success. You must deny self and focus on others. Focus on their pain and your solution to their pain points. It’s what makes Heroes successful. A screaming internal voice yelling inside saying I just had to do it….
In sales, we don’t like to call on people who don’t want to see us. We don’t like to hear “no”. We don’t like to follow a systematic, definite prospecting program or use a well prescribed sales script or organize and focus our time and effort to achieve our goals…. We want to be “ok” or accepted, but not too successful and ignored.
Successful people don’t like to do what success requires any more than failures. The pitiful feeling of rejection, the smug attitudes of the “tall hat and no cattle” group or the “not now” in your face all create images in our minds…. Not fun imagines; therefore, I will run away…… Not the right attitude
A “no” is only a conditional “yes”. “Not now”, perhaps later or “no”, but can you tell me more so I will want to buy this. It’s not what happens, but how you look at what happens…… Your passion and purpose must exceed the pain and discomfort of failure for you to be successful. Many years ago, I saw a poster saying, ” Happy are those who dream dreams and are willing to pay for them to come true“. It’s the push through attitude that carries you when others stop and quit.
We have an old family saying, “No hill is too steep for a stepper“. If you just take one more step, you will be that much closer to your objective. It maybe just getting out of bed or walking onto the stage to receive your award. Whatever it is, you must make the internal decision to do and not to just think about doing.
You either have good or bad habits. No one is without habits. Some habits move you closer to your goals and others drive you away. But the decision is always yours. Free will requires a binary answer Yes or No……
All habits are promises to yourself. The power of making and keeping habits to yourself empowers your passionate purpose. The more often you make and keep your personal promise “habit”, the stronger you reinforce your passionate purpose. Be true to thy self. The face in the mirror is the ultimate test. While you peer into the mirror, looking deeply into the eyes looking back at you, asking in that small, quiet voice, “Did you do your absolutely best or just enough to get by?”. The real test.
Remember two things about success, “Do what failures refuse to do and you will be successful” and “Keep personal promises”. A friend called the other day and said, ” Returned call as promised.” Several weeks before he said he would call at 2:00 p.m. and just as the clock hit 2:00 p.m. he called. If he could say that to me, what can I say to myself. I want to be the person who can say this: Self, I said this and did what I said.
Remember one thing, all successful people have one thing in common, they all do what failures don’t like or want to do….. It’s that easy. That’s why there are so many successful people…. Wrong. It’s a simple equation, but with very hard interacting variables to solve. Be the Master of the Self.…
Happy Thanksgiving early….
